The St. James A.M.E. Church is also a Florida Heritage site within Historic Georgetown.

A 10-year effort to add the Georgetown Historic District in Sanford to the National Register of Historic Places has paid off with official recognition on Oct. 8.

The Orginial Wailers (one member above) is slated to play outside the Executive Cigar Shop & Lounge on Nov. 28.
