BLUE-GREEN ALGAE ALERT: Exercise caution around Lake Howell in Casselberry

The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County has issued a Health Alert for the presence of harmful blue-green algal toxins in the Lake Howell/Casselberry area.

Towing has long been an issue at the downtown parking lot (above) behind the old Wells Fargo building.

Sanford commission strikes deal to lease downtown parking lot

One solution to downtown parking may have been reached last week in Sanford when the commission approved the execution of a lease of the parking lot behind the former Wells Fargo building.

The Public Art Commission will purchase Clayton T. Swartz’s ‘Festival Red’ (left) for $10,000 and “Vitality” (right) for $15,000.
