Charles S. Elbery, Sr.

Charles S. Elbery, Sr. was born on November 6, 1944 and transitioned on February 19, 2024. He graduated from Crooms High School in 1962 and attended Daytona Beach Community College. He was an active member of Anointed Word Family Worship Center where he played the trumpet triumphantly. He enjoyed bowling and won many bowling tournaments. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Smith, his mother, Daisy Brown and his wife, Sharon Elbery. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: Daughters, Andrea J. Elbery of Sanford, FL, LaTanya D. Elbery of Maitland, FL, and Coniesha Elbery of Mt Dora, FL; Sons, Charles S. Elbery, Jr (Quanece) of Sanford, FL, Derrion White (Ardis) of Tavares, FL, Jamal Elbery of Mt Dora, FL and Trevon Elbery of Mt. Dora, FL; 12 Grandchildren and 9 Greatgrandchildren; Sister, Barbara Murrary; Mother in Law, Bernice P Baskerville (James) of Sanford, FL; 5 Sisters-in-law; 1 Brother-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Services will be held on March 1, 2024,10:00am at Anointed Word Family Worship Center, 305 S. Highland Ave., Apopka, FL 32703.  Visitation will be held on February 29, 2024 from 5 - 7pm at Christian Fellowship Baptist, 1701 S. Bell Ave., Sanford, FL 32771.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Gail & Wynn's Mortuary, 1300 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL  32805.
